Publius
was the pen name used by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay and James
Madison when publishing the Federalist Papers.
These men wanted to avoid petty personal differences, which might
derail their goal of ratifying the Constitution. Each month a
different member of the JCC Democratic Committee publishes his or her
opinion in our monthly newsletter as a Publius essay.
Beginning with the January 2002 issue, however, the authors of
Publius no longer remain anonymous. |
