Welcome to our
web site!
The James City
County Democratic Committee focuses on identifying and supporting
Democratic candidates for local office and the Virginia legislature.
But this year we are working hard to elect Barack Obama and Mark
Warner. Come visit our Obama office at 110 Bacon St.
We have good
speakers at our meetings on topics such as politics, the health care
crisis, and the rampant growth in James City County.
Email me at
breslers@aol.com if you need directions or have questions.
Give us a try!
The
best way to keep up with our activities is through the emails I send
out. You can
sign up on this web site, or email me at
breslers@aol.com and I will enter your name and address on our
server.
If
you are a resident of James City County please support our work by
joining or renewing your membership. Our dues are $25.00 per person;
send your check payable to the James City County Democratic Committee
to P. O. Box 2032, Williamsburg, VA 23187.
Best Regards,
Ralph Bresler

Day of Caring Crew

The
committee's Day of Caring volunteers, recruited by Mike Ludwick,
included Willie Brown, Troy Farlow, Jim Icenhour, Clay Henson, Jane
Nichols, John Nichols, Emily Pease, and Linda Rice. The project was
delivering meals with Meals on Wheels, which serves not just the poor,
but also those more affluent who are alone and housebound. If you are
interested in volunteering with Meals on Wheels, please call 757-229-
9250. They can use the help and it takes just a few hours or so a
month. |

Committee's online and offline publications often reflect the views of
